Structures and principles of order shape architecture, urban planning, and landscapes, determining how spaces are used and experienced. Hierarchies within these spaces influence movement, places of residence, and orientation. Similar principles are applied in digital environments such as video games, where clearly recognizable patterns and subtle deviations allow alternative paths and hidden possibilities to be discovered. In the summer of 2023, I covered the windows of my temporary studio, a former office, with paper to keep out the heat. Using the trompe l'oeil technique, I applied architectural structures that I recalled from memory onto the seald window and door surfaces.
